Digital Marketing Manager

About the Role

The Digital Marketing Manager is responsible for continually raising our marketing technology and analytics game.  Where there is an opportunity to punch above our weight on the marketing front, this role will find every opportunity to give Passport a measurable performance advantage by doing things smarter.  

 

Responsibilities include:

 

  • SEO and the technical implementation of our web site, content, ad campaigns, and mobile apps including product and industry-specific targeting
  • Attribution modeling for leads and opportunities, including multi-touch attribution
  • Integration of marketing automation, CRM, and other marketing technology tools
  • Adwords and other paid advertising strategy, execution, and analysis
  • UTM Schema, or similar, development and maintenance
  • Internal consultation and implementation of marketing automation and social media campaigns
  • Regularly report on in-depth analytics from marketing platforms and service providers
  • Maintain relationships with platform providers and stay up-to-date on top platforms, features, and new ways to implement company-wide technology
  • Enable our Sales and Marketing reps with tools that will aid in their ability to deliver impactful presentations and collateral, as well as our ability to track activity and engagement

About You

You obsess over data… where it’s stored, how it connects, what it means, and the best ways to visualize it. You understand the difference between vanity metrics and those that are actually relevant to our business performance.

 

You are a constant experimenter.  Whether it comes to paid advertising, social media campaign elements, or SEO tweaks within a site.  You understand statistical significance and how to run a proper A/B or multivariate test.

 

You should be extremely knowledgeable in: WordPress, Salesforce, Marketo, Google Analytics, SEO management platforms, and social media management tools.

 

Excel (or gSheets) is a friend you know well.  R or Python analysis experience a bonus.  The ability to write scripts that automate data gathering, analysis, and reporting will tremendously help in this role.

VP, Finance

The Role:

Business partnering – work closely with company leaders to develop financial forecasts and operational goals, apply business judgment and financial insights to assist with decision making
Sophisticated financial modeling – build models from scratch, maintain and update models, improve accuracy and simplification of existing models, automate summary reporting

Proposal Coordinator

The majority of our sales come through a competitive procurement process, which requires answering a government or university Request for Proposal (“RFP”). The Proposal Manager owns the procurement process and works hand-in-hand with the sales and product teams to construct and execute responses. They will manage the entire project timeline and ensure a high-quality product is delivered on time. The proposal is the most important step in bringing new business to Passport and the Proposal Coordinator plays a huge role in our continued success.

Here’s what you’ll do every day:

  • Read through RFPs, organize meetings with the sales team lead to develop a strategy for responding to the RFP.
  • Organize and format proposals in accordance with Passport’s standardized writing rules and layouts.
  • Ensure compliance with technical requirements.
  • Collaborate with members of the sales, marketing, finance, legal, or product teams to ensure content is complete, accurate, and timely.
  • Become an expert on Passport’s suite of products. Write persuasive and accurate responses to RFPs that are read by key stakeholders in the largest cities in the world.

Mid-Level Software Developer

The Role:

Software Developers at Passport are responsible for leading our application planning and development process across all divisions and product lines. This includes managing the product throughout the product lifecycle, participating in defining the product vision, and working closely with our team to deliver a superior product.

Responsibilities:

  • Full-stack development using common open-source development technologies including (but not limited to) PHP, JavaScript, GWT, Java, Swift, and various other technologies to create custom solutions for our end-clients

Accounting Analyst

Implementation Specialist

The Role:

Do you have a knack for developing solutions to ambiguous technical software requirements? Do you enjoy working with enterprise customers to deliver world-class service? Then you may be the Implementation Specialist we’re looking for on our team!

 

Our Implementation Specialists help to drive the post-sales execution of software development projects for end-clients (municipalities, agencies, universities, private operators). They establish expertise with the Passport systems and work with Project Managers to build out an awesome product for each client’s specifications. The abilities to problem solve, execute timelines, and bring stakeholders together toward a common vision are crucial on the Professional Services team.

 

Since our Implementation Specialists play such a critical role liaising between our clients and our software engineers, a background in technology (educational, professional, or otherwise) and an aptitude for solving ambiguous technical issues will be advantageous to a new hire!

 

On a typical day, you will:

 

  • Assist Project Managers in setting up 3rd party integrations and applying system settings for new clients.
  • Pull and create clean, detailed, and custom analyses for clients using Excel and other tools.
  • Drive post-sales project execution by ensuring projects are well organized, staffed, and fulfilled in a timely and effective manner.
  • Liaise between software development, business teams, 3rd parties, and end-clients.

UI Designer

Here’s what you’ll do everyday:

 

  • Work closely with product managers and other stakeholders to help generate product and feature possibilities based on user needs and business requirements
  • Create design artefacts at different stages of the product development cycle, such as user experience flows, wireframes, sketches and interactive prototypes, and high-resolution mockups and design assets
  • Work closely with developers on the final feature or product, right from the conceptualisation stage to release
  • Always be an advocate for the end-user, pushing for and thinking about the most meaningful user experience possible
  • As a Product Designer, you should be able to think about the big picture and the right product experience for the user (UX) and also be able to craft the design details (UI).
