Mukilteo Launches Passport’s Mobile Parking App at City Parking Locations

PassportParking® app now available for easier payments

Mukilteo, WA- The City has announced the launch of PassportParking®, a new mobile application that will make paying for parking easier in Mukilteo. The mobile app is powered by Passport, the industry leader for parking and transit mobile app technology that allows drivers to pay for parking conveniently from their smartphones.

The PassportParking app offers a quicker option for purchasing parking while also helping users avoid parking tickets.

Using the PassportParking app, users can pay for parking as well as:

  • Monitor their parking sessions
  • Extend time remotely
  • View payment history
  • Receive email receipts

“The PassportParking app is the first mobile payment installation for the City of Mukilteo,” said Mayor Jennifer Gregerson. “With Passport’s technology, we’re looking forward to providing our residents and visitors with an easier way to pay and manage their parking sessions. The implementation of the new technology will fit with our vision as a well-run city.”

The free PassportParking mobile app is now available in the Front Street and Lighthouse Park area. Passport signage instructs drivers on how to download and use the app.

The PassportParking app will be available at all on-street parking locations, including the waterfront areas throughout Mukilteo. The app is free to download from the App Store and Google Play. Users can also manage their parking online at ppprk.com.
