Passport Recognized for Major Award, Sees Huge Industry Growth

Wow, these past few weeks have been a whirlwind! While most people are prepping for the holidays, the Passport team is continuing to power through till the end of the year. We’ve hit the ground running – from the acquisition of ParkX to being awarded #1 Fast 50 award, we’re extremely humbled. Let’s take a little breather, rewind a bit, and reflect on these past few weeks, which have left us feeling incredibly grateful. Get a glimpse into our recent news:

Growth of Mobile Ticketing Adds Flexibility to Transit Solutions

As mobile ticketing gains momentum,  Passport is seen as a clear transit leader. The industry’s leader is pushing transit, a “traditionally rigid” form of transportation, towards a flexible mobile option for commuters, residents, and visitors alike. Daniel Bliley, Passport’s Marketing Director, aims to focus on “higher analytics”, which would push the company to use the data to further expand its transit operations, efficiency, and overall growth.

Passport Awarded Nationwide Contract

As the industry’s leading mobile payments provider, Passport announced its award by the NCPA (National Cooperative Purchasing Alliance). The NCPA is a national purchasing cooperative with a focus on reducing the cost of goods and services in the U.S. and aims to provide NCPA members with products of the utmost quality at the best prices. The award recognized Passport as the industry’s preferred mobile payments provider.

CIO Interview Recognizes Passport’s CEO

CIOReview named Passport as one of the top 20 most promising government technology solution providers of 2016! “We take advantage of our comprehensive platform to stay ahead of the competition, assuming the role of the innovation pace car,” said Bob Youakim, Passport CEO. “Built to scale and adapt, we solve client pain points dynamically, building features and configuring controls for specific use cases in the field.”

Passport Acquires ParkX

Passport welcomes the ParkX team and further expands their footprint by bringing their technology solution to 15 new markets! ParkX, a mobile payment provider based in Scottsdale, Arizona, was acquired by Passport and will assume their contracts and assets.

CBJ’s #1 Fast 50 Award
The Charlotte Business Journal awarded Passport with the #1 Fast 50 award for 2016! Passport was among 50 private companies with extreme growth. Over the past three-years, the leading mobile payment provider hit a 475.5% revenue growth from 2013-2015! Passport was joined by other industry leaders, like AddShoppers Inc. and Torrent Consulting.
