PassportParking® App Provides Simple Way to Pay for Parking in Village of Bartlett

Village launches parking app for convenient payment option

Village of Bartlett, IL — The Village of Bartlett has launched PassportParking® mobile application. The mobile app is powered by the global leader of mobile payments for parking and transit, Passport, serving cities and universities throughout North America.

PassportParking provides a convenient way for residents and visitors to quickly pay for their parking sessions using their mobile devices. Users can also:

  • Monitor their parking sessions
  • Extend time remotely
  • View payment history
  • Receive email receipts

“The Village of Bartlett’s partnership with Passport has enabled us to update our technology and digitize the parking experience,” said Phyllis Severson, records supervisor for the Village of Bartlett. “With the PassportParking app, we are able to join surrounding municipalities as we make handling metro parking as seamless as possible.”

“We’re excited to launch our mobile parking solution for the Village of Bartlett and further expand our mobile footprint in Chicagoland,” said Chris Watt, client success manager at Passport. “With PassportParking, residents and visitors can take advantage of paying and managing their parking sessions through their smartphones.”

Metro parking permits are also available to purchase online at bartlettpermits.rmcpay.com. The digital permits can be purchased on a quarterly basis and can be used at the nearly 300 metro parking spaces throughout the village with more becoming available upon demand.

The PassportParking app is also available in Geneva and more than 40 other cities in Chicagoland. The app is free to download from the App Store and Google Play, and parkers can also manage parking online at ppprk.com. Residents will still have the option to pay at the platform, if they so choose.
